Lymph Node

Lymph Node Diagram/Colouring Sheet by Laura Ulrich at Monsters and Molecules.

One of the body’s many swellings in the lymphatic system, responsible for the production of lymphocytes (a type of white blood cell) and cleansing of lymphatic fluid. Lymph nodes are what get enlarged and sore when you are sick. This is because your body flushes bacteria from your cells into the lymphatic fluid, which then carries said bacteria to the node.

BONUS: This week’s SI can also be used as a colouring sheet!
